ROSEMARY HASSAN

Rosemary has been a financial adviser in New Zealand since 1993.  Her experience, knowledge and skill as a financial adviser, together with her superb listening and interpersonal skills, compassion and genuine focus on the needs of clients, fit her ideally for her role.  In addition to advising clients, Rosemary focuses on client relationships, our values and ongoing client care programmes, ensuring that we stay focused on what really matters to our clients and professional contacts.

Fluent in Dutch, Rosemary also speaks French and Spanish.  Her multilingual skills and European experience has made Rosemary invaluable to UK and European new immigrants with financial planning and investment needs.  Rosemary also mentors new advisers, and takes an active role in our professional body.

Prior to helping set up Hassan & Associates in 1995, Rosemary worked as an investment adviser with a large New Zealand firm and a global financial services provider.  Before coming to New Zealand in 1989 she worked with Royal Dutch Shell in The Hague, and prior to that she marketed unit trusts in the UK.

Rosemary also has a keen interest in philanthropy and the arts.  She is a past Auckland chair for Chamber Music New Zealand, where she has managed key marketing and events management projects.  She is also involved with a range of other charitable and community initiatives.

Rosemary is a Certified Financial PlannerCM professional.
